I love wedding season!

I had another wedding this weekend and it was an amazing time as always! It was great to get home again and catch up with so many friends. This wedding was very elegant and I have more ideas to tack on to the list for mine someday. My favorite idea was what they had on the welcome table at the reception. In the center it was a collage of their engagement pictures, but they also had the wedding pictures of both of their parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents. I had never seen that before and I thought it was a very unique idea that really makes your wedding personal to all of your guests. Plus, it is crazy to see the style changes over the years!

It also made me start thinking about the bachelorette party I have to plan for my high school best friend coming up in a month or two. I have been to ones where it was a theme party, scavenger hunt, just a supper and a relaxing evening at a house, and on a party bus and bar hopping. I'm not sure which one was my favorite but maybe I can incorporate multiple ideas into this one to make it extra special. Does anyone have any good ideas for games to play before the real party begins for the night? I'm always up for new ideas!

  1. I actually just attended my boyfriend's sister's bachelorette party and it was a blast! We played this one game where prior to that day one of the bridesmaids asked the groom-to-be a bunch of questions. So at the bachelrotte party we asked the bride-to-be these questions about her future husband and if she got them right she was fine, but if she got them wrong she had to but a marshmellow in her mouth! The last marshmellow she had to put in was in the shape of a penis! However, I have see this game played another way. Where if she got it wrong she had to take a shot and if she got it right she could make someone else take a shot! Either way is fun! :) Enjoy your party!

  2. I have not attended any bachelorette parties, but I have heard of party busses. You rent a bus or limosine and drive around town going to different bars, playing games inside the bus such as truth or dare. I saw a picture where the girls were dare to dance in the middle of the road when the light was in red. It looked funny.
